BBC News - Volunteer army drafted to map every ancient hill fort
Having gathered on many hill forts over the years of the protest from Twyford Down onwardss,we know there is an ancient and magical connection with these places.Many interlink leylines and ancient paths of power in the land.We used to joke about gatherings around a massive fire, not another windy hillside.
But seriously these places are well worth a visit.
Also good to check 'the modern Antiquarian ' by Julian Cope a massive book on many of the stone circles and magical places of Britain.
